The Ravens win, nevermore.

Just after I thought it couldn't get any worse, Sunday happened. Sunday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals pretty much ended Ravens playoff hopes for the 2007 season. We are now 4-5 and are 0-4 in the division.
I arrived at the game around noon for the 4:15 kickoff, and I could definitely feel a sense of pessimism in the air, especially during the tailgate. Fans seemed to be fed up with team, and they have every right in the word to be after Monday's performance.
Thousands of Ravens fanatics, including myself, bleed purple and black for this team. I know it's just a game, but the Ravens are one of most important things in my life next to family and friends. I understand teams cannot win every game, but when I have to witness the inexcusable play of Steve McNair and horrible coaching of Brian Billick it takes a toll on me. Something needs to be done and it has to be done fast. This team means way too much to too many people for this to continue. Its Kyle's team now.

Nice post on the dissappointment of the Ravens this season. Baltimore is a true football town, and unfortunately they're getting a lousy product. Hopefully the fans remain optimistic and still give the purple and black a great homefield advantage.
